Randy Meacham began his career in 1978 at the five star, five diamond Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs as a Convention Services Supervisor. He worked directly with the meeting planner to insure every detail of their meeting set up met and exceeded expectations. He moved on to work for Vail Resorts in a consulting role. His focus was lead generation and coordination of Sales events in Denver for prospective clients. Randy later founded World’s Finest Hotels, a collection of Colorado, luxury hotels. This elite association brought together, the “finest” Colorado hotels and resorts and the top meeting planners in the State.
“I remember our first event, ‘Meet at The Mansion’. We rented a mansion in Denver and had a large attendance. We scored a home run as both the meeting planners and the hoteliers loved the experience.”
Since 1996, Randy has been assisting meeting planners in research, RFP generation and site selection.

Being involved in the hospitality business is a passion for Randy. “This industry brings people together.”
Randy’s wife, Laurie, has been in the hotel business her entire career. “I’m so thrilled that she has joined our company. Her expertise, knowledge and passion for meetings and events are invaluable. She has earned great respect in this industry and has built fantastic relationships with her clients and hoteliers over many years.”
Laurie Meacham, CMP is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for World’s Finest Meetings. She is a Certified Meeting Professional and expert in global site selection and contract negotiation. She was previously the Director of National Sales for the Five Star, Five Diamond, Broadmoor Hotel for 18 1/2 years. Laurie was recognized numerous times for her consistently high production, having brought prestigious clients to the resort to include the World NATO Summit, The Association Committee of 100, the Events Industry Council; CMP Conclave, AMCI and the annual meetings for the most coveted Association clients in the Washington DC area. Laurie most recently received the Preferred Hotels, Partner of the Year award and The Broadmoor-Sea Island award for the most business referred to a partner hotel. She played a key role in the Hospitality business for many years as Director of Sales and Marketing for Vail Resorts, Breckenridge Lodging and Hospitality and the Sheraton Colorado Springs Hotel. She was named Director of Sales of the year for Doubletree Hotels Corporation, Corporate Top Performance in Sales and received the National Inter-sell Award.
Laurie served on the ASAE Industry Partner Alliance, the ASAE Meetings and Exposition Council and the National Board for HSMAI Hotel Director’s of Sales and Marketing. She is Past President of the Southern Colorado, HSMAI chapter and was awarded the Member of Year award for her efforts on the HSMAI board of directors to bring quality education and programming to the hospitality community. She currently serves as Vice President of Programs & Education. She also serves as Chairwoman of the Principia Club of the Pikes Peak region.
Laurie represented Michigan State University as Homecoming Queen and traveled with the world renowned entertainment group, Up with People as Promotions Manager.
She has two grown sons, Sean and Cameron, 3 grandchildren and a little Chihuahua named Boo. Her husband, Randy is President of World’s Finest Meetings.
